According to research, Solar PV Systems although generally less risk of causing a house fire than your usual suspects like hair dryers and curling irons, blenders and toasters. Solar Panels are very safe. With that been said there have been a few incidents.
That's why more and more of Home & Business owners are looking to improve their knowledge on the fire safety of solar panels.

- Fire Detection - Make sure you have fire alarms fitted in the correct positions to ensure extra fire safety in the home and always check them regularly.
- Considering a battery? If you are opting-in for this feature, we highly recommend the battery be installed externally if that's possible. This also decreases the chance of a Fire.
- Education is Key! Let everyone in the household know how the system works. It's never a bad idea to have a fire escape plan.
